Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin return to one of Italian horror’s most electrifying musical worlds with a newly recorded and reimagined soundtrack for Dario Argento’s Tenebre.

Released on 28 August 2026, the 10-track, 39-minute edition brings the score’s razor-edged pulse into vivid contemporary focus while preserving the tension, dark melody and theatrical force that made it iconic. Vocoder, electronic drums and pulsating basslines collide with the kinetic motion of Italo disco and the architecture of horror-infused progressive rock.

The digital edition presents the eight core soundtrack pieces — “Tenebre,” “Gemini,” “Slow Circus,” “Lesbo,” “Flashing,” “Tenebre (Reprise),” “Waiting The Death” and “Jane Mirror Theme” — followed by two bonus interpretations: “Flashing (Remix by TIBIA)” and “Waiting The Death (Cover by SIMULACRUM LAB).” It is both a return and a reinvention: familiar shadows, rebuilt with new weight, clarity and motion.
